The nickel-plated brass body and anodized aluminum sleeve are corrosion-resistant and the nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) O-rings are resistant to oil and chemicals. The valve body has female British Standard Pipe Parallel (BSPP) threaded inlet connections. It has a maximum operating pressure of 20 pounds per square inch (psi) and a working temperature range of 4 to 6 degrees F.
