Welded Construction 。 Intended for use with armored/metal clad cable 。 Mounts to any depth of a box on the open or closed side using an MS-bracket 。 Protects device from damage 。 UL listed 。 Product description 52151-MSX Pre-Galvanized Steel Square Box 4 Inch x 4 Inch x 1-1/2 Inch 21 Cubic-Inch Steel City® 。 From the Manufacturer The Steel City 52151 MS X is a pre-galvanized steel square box with C-3 armored cable clamps, MS- bracket and 1/2-Inch and 3/4-Inch eccentric knockouts. Is a 4-Inch box that is 1-1/2-Inch deep with a 21-Cubic Inch capacity and is intended for use with armored/metal clad cable. On each side of the box there are two 1/2-Inch knockouts and one 1/2-Inch and 3/4-Inch eccentric knockout. The bottom of the box contains one 1/2-Inch knockout while both ends have 2 cable knockouts. The individual wedges on an eccentric knockout can be removed without going all the way around the circle to either be a 1/2-Inch or 3/4-Inch. The patented MS-bracket design has teeth that sink into the stud for a secure installation and mounts to any depth of a metal stud and to the open or closed side of a stud providing flexibility.
